I had been taking hypertensive medications prescribed by my doctors, should i still continue?

i am 21yr/o s/p open cholecystectomy dec 2006. Although chest pain started 2004. I had been to cardiologist due to sudden unexplainable surge of BP 150/100mmHg - 240/200mmHg. Besides of this complaints i have been having episodic spastic paralysis starting from toes to upper extremities. Many Cardiologists prescribed for maintenance of INDERAL, HYTRIN, ZIAC, CLONIDINE, VELORIN, ISOPTIN, NIFEDIPINE, etc etc...
MRI. CT ANGIORAM, CT SCAN OF THE BRAIN, MRI OF THE BRAIN, WHOLE ABDOMEN MRI, etc etc wer negative except for VMA false negative..
Though opthalmologist diagnose me for hypertensive retinopathy if doctors cant figure whats my real disease, should i continue or disregard the medications? Because i fear it might have toxicity in my liver.
Though i have been experiencing pain more often and i have been taking morphine sulfate lately, still the pain is unbearable sometimes. So i just wanted for advices if i should continue or disregard those hypertensive medications

You clearly have hypertension and you should not stop or change the meds without consulting your doctor. You may have essential hypertension.
