pelvic floor problem

by Joalbert, Mar 12, 2007 12:00AM
I recently found out that it really hurt when I have intercourse.  During my pap smear, the doctor toll me that my pelvis was interveted, even I realise when I was doing a yeast infection treatment ( i thought that it was an yeast infection that was causing the pain ). Does anyone has a pelvic floor disorder? Please help. I have a while before I can see an gyno. Thanks for an advice.

Find a gyn who deals with pain issues.  Physical therapy may help, but it depends on what is causing your pain.  Check out things like vulvo vestibulitis, or vulvodynia. There may be some info/symptoms that are similar.

www.vulvodynia.com   also has a lot of info in the FAQ section.
