Drug Interaction

by Snoopy114, Dec 04, 2007 09:13AM
My father is 82 and is on a few drugs that he needs.  My question is, are they working together or having an interaction.  Also, he won't go to another doctor (long story).  And I feel that his doctor just "gives him pills".

He needs medication for: anxiety (has very high anxiety), pain (had back surgery last year), and paranoia.  He is currently on: Lorazepam (for aniexty),  Lexapro (paranoia) and Darvoset-N Propoxy-N/APAP (for pain), also Flomax (prostrate).   He was taking Tramadol for pain but wasn’t strong enough for him to take away the pain.

Because of all his issues I do believe he needs drugs for each issue but was wondering if these all these drugs work together.
