my daughter is nine and she vomits after every meal .she cannot go to school because she will need a vomit bowl next to her. the feeling she has is the food doesnt seem to go down all the way but seems to stay just below her neck. its not a explosive vomit  i hear her sort of burp and she has pains all over her stomach then all her food or water come up in her mouth.to look at her she seems a healthy well adjusted little girl. she is not losing any weight . this has been going on for at least 6 weeks and doctors cant find anything wrong with her.She has also  had a psychological test and they said she is a well balanced happy girl. any ideas?

She's obviously getting some nutrition...meaning that some of the food it making it to her stomach.  Bulimics, even ones who are new to the game, can get very good at bringing up the food they eat without having to work that hard...ie: sticking their fingers down their throats and wretching.  I absolutely agree that this is a phycological issue...85-90% of all girls/women/men with an eating disorder have or are suffering from some form of sexual abuse.  If this is infact what is going on for her, please consider this as something that could be affecting her.  Another staggering statistic, is that about 60% of adolescent females are being bullied or are the bully themselves.  Good luck.

Thanks for replying lucy, we have just been to westmede childrens  hospital they cant seem to find anything medically wrong with my daughter. They  surgested a full baralmeal.Every visit to the doctor ,there has been 7 or 8 times, they ask hows every thing a home?My wife totally believes it is a physical thing. She said I betrayed he because I said { Well my wife is a professional singer and my daughter sings very well too, she loves it .)maybe our daughter feels stressed to impress her mother. My wife also has an ocd and has major deppression. My wife also thinks she is fat and wont take all her medication because she would rather die than get fat.We have five kids one sixteen yr old boy who  is a foster child. We have a stressful family including three teenage boys and a 4 year old boy.I my self have been a rageaholic although I havnt raged for about 2 years.I honestly believe there has been no sexual abuse to my daughter.I have deppression as well but not as bad as my wife. My 16 year old also has deppression, thats another story.

crohn's disease also includes diarrhea and extreme weight lose so i dont think that is the problem. if she see's her mothers behavior towards food she might have been influinced. plus the test for crohn's disease is a barium enema. and im sure that may be to hard core for her.

hope i helped. good luck
