Hello, Iam 28 weeks pregnant and have only gained ten pounds as of my last Dr. visit three weeks ago. i stepped on the scale yesterday at home and it said that i have lost two pounds. Is this safe for my baby?

Hi.

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. I do hope you will deliver a very healthy baby.

Regarding your question, as long as you are not malnourished and are within or slightly above your recommended body weight, everything should be fine. Just make sure you have your regular prenatal visits, eat healthy foods, and avoid infections.
