Spina Bifida please help

by kowl86, Dec 09, 2007 08:21PM
I am a 3rd year university student currently writing a paper on Spina Bifida and desperately need some information. I need some information regarding L4 lesions due to Spina Bifida in an 8 year old pt i.e. characteristic problems in an L4 lesion due to spina bifida. Including muscles involved, skin involvement, functional implications and any particular points different from other level lesions. This would greatly help me and would be greatly appreciated

Also if possible any implications, physical characteristic, and advice to an 8 y o pt with a VP shunt inserted at birth

Thanks
