brown discoloration on penis

I have a brown discoloration on the shaft of my penis. It's about a half inch squared, and located right above a beauty mark that has been there all my life. the discoloration is only about a year or two years old. It is the same texture as the rest of my skin, but about the same color as the beauty mark. It doesn't hurt or tingle or anything, but it looks weird. What could this be?

It sounds like a freckle. These are common on the penis. I suggest you ask a doctor to take a look, since that's the only way you'll know for sure. Freckles mean nothing and don;t need to be treated.
