Dizzy and Weak after Eating

by Nicole0428, Dec 14, 2007 03:02PM
I was diagnosed with Hypoglycemia when I was in grade 12 (I am now 26) and I thought I grew out of it but lately I have been feeling really weak and dizzy even after eating. Today i was fine until I ate and then the dizziness came. It almost feels like I am on a rocking ship or I feel drunk.

My doctor thought it COULD be linked to the fact that when I had my second child in September I lost a bit of blood (I passed out in the bathroom with the nurse when I was trying to go pee after delivery). He thinks that it could be that my body is still trying to replenish the blood that I lost....

Is this the case or do you think its my hypoglycemia acting up or something else? Please help...

I suggest you get blood work done to see if you have hypoglycemia again or if it is your blood loss. Then you can be treated correctly from the results. Thank you for your question.
