I am not sure there are any answers for what is wrong with me, but there are things i have seen in my dreams that rival the worst that hollywood has to offer. If anyone has any ideas, I am willing to try them - anything to not be afraid of falling asleep!

You are doing very well for yourself inspite of this problem. Thats great!
I think there is a psycological cause to your night terrors, a traumatic event or an unhappy incident in your past. This can also be due to excessive stress. I would suggest you to go for psycotherapy. Also do not watch horror films on television. Avoid any kind of excitement around around your bedtime. Read a book or listen to music just when you are about to fall asleep. Focus on the good things that are going on in your life.Good luck!
