AORTIC STENOSIS

by BILL2216, Dec 16, 2007 01:15PM
I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A NEW, AND EXPERIMENTAL, PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING TGHE AORTIC VALVE. THIS PROCEDURE WOULD MAKE IT UNNECESSARY TO DO THE OTHERWISE MAJOR OPERATION TO REPLACE THE VALVE. I AM 81 YEARS OLD AND I UNDERSTAND WHILE THIS OPERATION CAN BE DONE SUCCESSFULLYBUT THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE IT WOULD LEAVE ME COMPROMISED REGARDING MY COGNITIVE ABILITIES.
