best kind of biopsy?

I am 65 years old and my mother had breast cancer. I had a mammogram recently showing a cluster of pleomorphic microcalcifications over an area pf 2 x 3 cm. in the upper, outer quadrant of my R breast. What is the best type of biopsy to have and why?
