I went to the ER lastweek . i told the doctor about symptoms I have had for about 2 years but I told him it had all happened that same day because I wanted him to do a ct.I have no ins. I have a really bad neck two fused discs in my neck and I dont know why .Ive never had surgery or been in an accident.My neck has no curviture for bending its like having 10 lbs. of dead weight on my shoulders.I was in hopes he would do a ct on my head and neck but he just didthe ct onmy head .what I told him was Ihad a spell of areally loud ringing and sort of like bells but that happened 2 years ago.That day I was on the computer for a while cant be on it long because of my neck.I told him that i layed down to rest for a while and ai felt a little goosh in my head followed by sort of an electrical shock thing in my head in which I have had those before I have had shocks when Iwould be Ju st about asleep go all over my body for just a second .HE said he thought I had a tia but Ididnt have any symptoms of a tia .I have had lightheaded spells for a long time my doctor gave me valium and it really helped.Im sorry I told him that all this happened in one day but I really wanted to get my neck and shoulders checked so bad.CT came back fine .Idont think I had a tia I also have fibromyalgia,ostioarthritis,tinnitis,degenerative bone disease,high blood pressure,panic attacks,miniers disease,wrye neck also severe depression.could any of these problems cause any of my symptoms like lighteheadedness and ringing in my ears and other problems besides a tia thank you for reading and hopefully ansering      bjwhite

Hi,

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through so much. The ringing in the ears is also known as tinnitus and can be due to meniere's disease. The light headedness could be due to high blood pressure. Is your BP under control? How often do you check it? What medications are you taking for it?
How did you come to know that you have two fused discs at the back of your neck? Did you at any time undergo CT scan or x ray of neck?
You have a number of medical conditions, are you taking medications for each one of them?

I take lisinipril and clonodine for blood pressureIalso take xanax for anxiety. I dont know why my neck is like this I have only had xrays done no insurance signed up for disability not enough work credits no ssi didnt qualify so I cant have the tests I need thats why I told the emergency doctor a small white lie in which im sorry for but I wanted a ct on my head and neck but they just did one on my head my neck was my priority but that didnt happen .so I am going to try for medicaid dont know if I even qualify for that and also I didnt mention I have TMJ terrible.  thanks for your concern,have a merry christmas  bjwhite
