I confused about whether i should visit my doctor or not I have been getting lower abdominal pain for as long as i can remember, my boyfriend has become worrried about me and researched my symptoms on the net and found this site with a reference to endometris, I have all the symptoms except one, but the reason i'm hesitant to go to the doctor is that it seems more common in older woman or those with children and as i am 22 and have never been pregnant or had children, i wonder if i would just be wasting the doctors time, what should i do?

It seems that your boyfriend and you are concerned!  Go to the doctor just to rule out anything.  It would ease your minds!  You could have ovarian cyst, my daughter now 21 suffers from lower abdominal pain at times as a result of it.   They say that endometriosis is most common in women 30-40 years of age who Never had children.  So you never know.

And NO You wouldn't be wasting your doctors time!!!  Thats what he's there for.  Pelvic pain is the number 1 reason women see their gynocologist!  So go see you gynocologist!

I have endo, was diagnosed by a laperoscopy at the age of 16. I have gone on to have three beautiful children and am now in my last twenties. I say go to the doc, pelvic pain is not norm.

I would definately see your doctor. Anytime you have pain it is best to go straight to the doctor.
