Let us start with Aerobic exercises.
Aerobic means anything and everything related to air and "with oxygen". It mentions the use of oxygen in a muscle's energy-building path.
Aerobic exercise refers to exercise that is of moderate intensity, undertaken for a long duration.
If you do aerobics regularly your cardio-respiratory status will improve and also your stamina. Longer duration of exercise will make you more fit for longer activity like say for Marathon.
There are various types of exercise involved like running for a long distance for longer time is aerobic exercise and running for short distance and faster is anaerobic exercise like sprinting.
Burning of calories is more gradual in aerobic and fuel available is fats once glycogen is exhausted. In anaerobic the entire fuel is used up in initial exercise and there is no time for reserved fuel to be activated.
You can consider one as muscle strengthening and other as muscle building.
Hope this helps.
Bye.
Aerobic exercises refers to any exercise that involves or improves oxygen consumption by the body. Aerobic exercise session usually involves a warm up and cool down session.
Any exercise which is slow and steady is aerobic exercise eg running at a steady pace.
Anaerobic exercise on the other hand is a short burst of intense activity in which sugar is consumed without oxygen. Weight training and strength training are egs of anaerobic exercises.
