Had you been lifting heavy weights (even if it is usual for you to lift such weights) before noticing that you had pain in the biceps?
When we have stress (like subclinical viral infection, job/family pressure etc), it tends to lower our resistance, and also our threshold for injury. At such time, if we perform heavy excercise (even though we were previously comfortably able to do the same), injury may result.
Perhaps this has happened with you.
Please take a break from exercise till you recover fully. Applying a warm water bag, as well as taking Tylenol, can help.
If pain still persists, please consult your doctor, who will rule out any major injury, and also prescribe analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
