early pregnancy

Hi this is my first pregnancy and i am 31. I started to bleed on friday 15th december and havent stopped yet. I have been for a vaginal scan/ultrasound and was told there was little fluid and no heartbeat detected, i have to go back on the 24th December for another scan to be sure. I have had no clotting. (The doctor said i am 6.5 weeks i thought i was 7.5). I am terrified of loosing the baby as it is really wanted but at the same time i dont want to build my hopes up.
