abnormal EEG

WELL, first seizure, then normal cat scan, abnormal EEG, and now waiting on MRI results. could epilepsy show an abnormal EEG, AND WHAT ELSE COULD CAUSE THIS?  could the MRI STILL BE NORMAL?  i'm concerned   thank-you

all i know is the eeg was abmormal and i dont have mri results yet, but i will let you know . i go to the doc on weds. thanks
