Keflex & Penicillin allergy

I'm allergic to penicillin. I was prescribed Keflex (500mg) by a doctor for a urine infection today. (i informed him of my allergy) On the web it says that Keflex might cause adverse reactions in those with an allergy to penicillin. I haven't taken the medicine yet. Please advise me.
