blood results

by monkey81, Dec 21, 2007 10:08PM
i got blood results back to me today that i had taken about a month ago.  I wasnt sure what questions to ask, after he handed me more paperwork to get more blood work done and a visit to radiology for elevated alkaline phosphatase, i presume to get to the bottom of things.  looking at my numbers the ones that are elevated, dont seem that bad, but im worried due to having me take more tests that they might be worse than i think.  the numbers that are not where they should be are..alkaline phosphatase at 123, my triglycerides are at 169, my mcv is at 103.8, and my mch is at 35.4.  i recently returned from a trip in japan.  i have to admit i do like to drink mostly on weekends, however am guilty of drinking a day or two during the week.  my question is can i bring all these numbers down by quitting drinking, excersising and better diet...making a BIG lifestyle change...can i change these numbers to be better?

thank you.
