Irregular pupils & Eyelid Retraction-LAST QUESTION

by RyJ, Dec 24, 2007 04:58AM
Are you able to declare if the pupil problem can be corrected AND/OR The eyelid retraction, which every morning i wake up now-i have the eyelid retraction,on my smaller eye pupil ?

Also any concerns, things to look out for until i get an eye specialist to have a look at my eyes?
What is the possible outcomes of all this?

I appreciate the answers, info you have already given me.

Since a diagnosis has not been made and in this forum we cannot make a diagnosis your questions will need to be answered by the Eye MD that examines you.

RyJ,

I wonder if a CT of the orbits would be indicated to rule out any underlying cause.  Your symptoms sound so much like throid eye disease which you can have even without furter thyroid disease. Just  a suggestion.

RyJ.

The appearance of the pupil may look
different because your eyeball could
be buldging alittle.

Google thyroid eye disease. Thyroid
eye disease is also called thyroid opthalmopathy, Graves’ eye disease
or dysthyroid eye disease.

You really need to see a Doctor of
Ophthalmology (Eye MD) for further
testing.
