Irritated c_sectio scar

I had a c-section over 9 years and and today in the shower I noticed it was very red and irritated, hurt to touch in one area. Is this a problem?. Unfortunetley i am overweight after having 4 children. Only my first was a c-section. What should i do. There does not seem to be an odor that I notice.

I would use some peroxide, antibiotic ointment and make sure your clothes aren't rubbing it. If it doesn't get better see a dr.
