husband has got sarcoidosis with bad cough is there anything he can take for this cough.he is on predilsone but still got the cough. thankyou.  he has a chest infection at the moment.live in uk.

Treatment of your husband’s chest infection will, indirectly, treat his cough.  Check with his doctor to see if he could take any of a number of cough medicines to relieve his cough, such as Tussionex® (hydrocodone) and any of a number of codeine containing cough syrups.
