wart caused from dog bite

Is there any merit in covering a wart with a paste of lye soap and duct tape. If so will it work on pre cancers on the scalp?

I wouldn't count on the paste working on skin cancers, however warts are really unusual creatures, and have been known to disappear after a number of unconventional treatments such as you suggest. Crushed aspirin tablets in a paste are sometimes prescribed for warts.

Thanks for your reply and the helpful hint suggesting aspirin paste.
I did have a BB size crustation in my scalp several days ago that I covered with tape and soap paste. It came off in 24 hours, but I am going to keep it covered a few days before discontinuing and see if it returns.
I had read somewhere that when a wart was covered in the manner that I described, that the bodies immune system was immediately sent to that area to attack the parasite or invading body. The method supposedly works well on boils as well.
I guess I will find out in time.  Noslit
