kindney infection post 3yrs old prostate removal

My husband had his protate removed due to cancer 3 years ago. He just went to er and has a kidney infection.Could this be related?

Hi Scoobers,
Your husband underwent prostatectomy 3 years back. Getting a kidney infection now appears to be unrelated.

There is absolute no relation to the prostatectomy 3 years back and the kidney infection   .
