Sudden Memory Loss

I am 54 yr. old. Yesterday I experienced a sudden memory loss an it lasted up to 30 minutes. I was not able to recall anything during this time span. I had met with an accident 8 yrs ago and had a block in my frontal. It was cured by medicines. At that time I had similar condition and it lasted up to 3 days after which I recovered. Could you please give an advice on this?

Hi,
If you have suffered an accident, memory loss post accident could be due to concussion.
If you have dehydration, depression, excessive alcohol consumption can cause memory loss.
Have you seen any doctors? Have you been to psychologist and psychiatrist?
What they have to say about this?
What medications are you on?
I think you should start on Aricept after consulting with your doctor. It is a medicine used for Alzheimer’s, but is also prescribed for memory loss.
Keep me informed about your health status and about your consultations.
Bye.
Happy holidays to you and your family.
