Pregnant and Cramping

by cristyu, Dec 30, 2007 08:10AM
I had a miscarriage at 7 1/2 weeks in May.  I then had a chemical pregnancy in October.  My doctor told me that the minute I find out I'm pregnant again, I should take progesterone suppositories.  Well, I found out I was pregnant on Wednesday and immediately got the progesterone suppositories (200mg at night).  I feel a bit of cramping.  Last night, after I put in the suppository I felt some cramping and I still have them this morning.  I'm so paranoid about another miscarriage.  I'm not spotting or anything like that.  I don't see my doctor until Friday Jan 4th, as he's on vacation.  Any advice?

i read cramping is normal in early pregnancy due to the uterus streching to make room for baby. But, i myself at 5 weeks pregnant now, and hardly have any cramping.. i dont know which one is normal, to have cramping or not to have cramping..

but as long as you are not bleeding and cramping at the same time, you should be fine...

I went to the ER for cramping when I was just shy of 4 weeks.. they say its normal as long as there isnt' any bleeding.. just making room for baby.. I again went at 8 weeks for cramping again they said everything was okay.. I'm extremely paranoid myself I had a miscarriage at 4 weeks in Feb, my first appointment is Wed which I should be around 9 weeks, keeping my fingers crossed and praying that everything is okay.. goodluck to you!!
