Myocardial infarct/chicken pox

by skmuggs, Dec 31, 2007 12:16AM
My husband had a myocardial infarct on 22Dec/07. He required  a STENT.   My grandson has chicken pox with last spots erupting on 29 Dce/07.  When is it safe for my husband to spend time with his grandson?

I would ask a doctor about this to be 100% SURE.  Chickenpox is highly contagious, they say until all the pox have formed scabs.  I'd wait longer.  I'd wait a LOT longer if your husband has never had chickenpox.  Please call your husband's doctor for specifics on this.
