Possible Stomach Cancer?

I am a 23 year old obese African American man I have been having weird dreams that someone is telling me that I have cancer. I have a history of gastritis and have had two or 3 very sever episodes in which I was in a great great deal of pain. Most recently was this past summer when I began to fast to lose weight for long periods of whenever I would eat again sometimes I would eat too much and the gastritis would flare up. I have began to eat regularly but I have retained the gassiness and burping and that accompanies gastritis, for months. it seems like i can always muster a belch that with empty my stomach a little more . .. i can almost force gas out of my stomach all day. . . I get gassy and belchy almost everytime i eat.

Hi. Stomach cancer is a relatively rare disease in African-American men. The incidence is around 19.9 cases per 100,000 population, and it usually occurs in people over 40 years old. So the possibility that you have it is pretty remote. You may want to see the doctor for your condition though, if it's causing you a great deal of pain. You may also try decreasing your intake of carbohydrate rich foods, as this would cause you to accumulate gas.
