Very confused..

I apologize this is kind of long and may be graphic! Let me start by sayin' I'm not a teen, I am 20 years old.
I was 3 days late for my period. (I have started what I think is my period but it only lasted 2 days and it wasn't a heavy flow, it wasn't pinkish/brown that everyone says happens when they are pregnant... now I'm spotting VERY lightly.) I have been gettin' cramps sometimes and they fade into a soreness like I have been at the gym. (Except today I was getting a sharp pain in my left side that only lasted a second but it happend 5 or 6 times in a row every few hours and it was sharp enough to stop me in my tracks, then i was fine) I have also been getting little "hot flashes" where I'll start to sweat for a second and then it goes away. This is kind of gross so i apologize but i have had a "not so normal for me" kind of discharge. It's not the type when you have an STD because it's not a scary color and there is NO odor. It's kind of "off white" or "egg shell yellow." Not really nothing to make me run to the health department. As a matter of fact, I know I don't have anything. Anyways, it's thick and kind of stringy. Sometimes its clear. (Thru out the day it changes.) My ex and I were together 3 years and never used anything and were never "careful" and I never got pregnant. (Also I have an ovarian cyst that is an inch and a half big on my right ovary which I think is caused by my endometeouses) Now here recently, I have this "feeling". I took a First Response test on Dec.28th and the 29th that my mom bought me and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant even tho i had a 2 negative tests and a weird period? Should I test again and when?"

You still could be pregnant, even if you had 2 negative tests...it could have been too early to test. I would go to the dr.and ask for a blood test, not a pee test. The blood test won't lie. I had a negative pee test at planned parenthood, and the next morning I had a positive pee test at home, and then a positive blood test.

Your discharge is described as normal discharge during ovulation (I pray for egg white discharge every month!) Your pain/discomfort could be related to your cyst or endometriosis. Sharp pain can be related ot ovarian cysts - if the pain continues or gets worse make an appointment with your doctor.

Go to the doctor. Not all STD's have a funny color. You could have an infection that could leave you sterile if not treated or it could be nothing. Only your doctor can tell. I had something once apparently when I was young and lost a falopian tube from scarring. I never knew & only found out after I was in my late 30's and couldn't get pregant. I am not trying to scare you as it could be nothing - it could be anything. Go to the doctor - better safe than sorry.

There was no "sludging" when i was on my priod either. Just blood and since I have endometriousis that is extremely uncommon for me. Also, when I wake up in the morning (or whenever I wake up, not always MORNING,) I feel very HOT.. Like I have a fever. The more I awake I become the cooler I feel. SHP, I am POSITIVE I don't have an STD. vidflordia, it wasn't from me ovulationg because I have been taking ovulation tests and they were - for a week. This has been going on for about 2 weeks.
