stopped using birth control

I stopped using my birth control while I was half way through the pack.Then 2 days later I started bleeding and it lasted for 5 days (That's more then my menstral period lasts!) My bleeding stopped on the 19th of december and my normal menstral period was suppose to start on the 28th of december but it didn't.Was that bledding because I stopped using my birth control? Can the bleeding last up to five days? Did I miss my period because I'm pregnant? I need help

Yes--stopping your pill mid cycle can cause your period to come on early. You had your period earlier in the month, you would not have it again at the end of Dec. It may take a month or so to get regulated again.

I stopped taking Trinessa half-way through the pack simply because I could not bare it any longer. It was making me feel crazy and loopy. I have been off of the pill for about 2 weeks now (I had a period that lasted about 5 days and was very heavy) and I am currently in the process of finding a new pill to get on with my doctor. My question is this: My fiance and I have had unprotected sex the whole time and he's been pulling out. I am having all sorts of pregnancy type symptoms (I've been pregnant before) and am now nervous to begin a new pack if there's a possibility I could be pregnant. BUT because I stopped my pills half-way through I don't know when my period is due so I can take a pregnancy test! Any advice?? Thanks!!
