Pain after bladder tumor

by Deatunes, Jan 01, 2008 09:21PM
I'm a healthy 57-year old.  Three and a half weeks ago (12/7/07) I had a stage 1 tumor removed by transurethral re-section.  A few days after removal of the catheter, pain started to go away, but returned after two weeks with a vengance.  I just finished the 10 days of Cipro, am taking Pyridium, and still have intense pain (~7-8 out of 10) most of the day when I urinate.  I have been resting and not exercising, and stopped drinking coffee on my urologist's order.  How long should it take to heal, and what could be causing my problem?  Thanks in advance!
