AIH and Pregnancy

by Skiing, Jan 01, 2008 09:39PM
I have been diagnosed with AHI since the age of 12. I'm now 30 and looking to get pregnant. I'm on 50 mg of Imuran. I feel fine except for being tired and feeling like vomiting sometimes. I'm scared  to even try to get pregnant on Imuran. I was told I should get off the Imuran and get back on pretozione. I haven't taken that for years and I'm scared to gain weight and maybe scared I get get sick again. Is it better to get off the Imuran to get pregnant or is it okay. Is there side affects of Imuran and pregnancy?
