prolonged, frequent, irregular cycles, radiating back pain, dizziness

by cmv, Jan 02, 2008 08:05PM
i have always had irregular periods, but most often they were deemed irregular because they skipped months at a time.
in november, my period began as a very light, very dark flow, which lasted only about 2 days (was this even a cycle?) a week later, i started bleeding heavily, very bright red. this lasted almost 2 1/2 weeks. i then had a break of about 3 days and started again. this time it has lasted (so far) almost two weeks, and ranges from very light (so i require no product use) to sudden gushing forth. color is also ranging from bright to dark.
with this, i am having very low back pain - it almost feels that my back really needs to crack. i try to stretch, etc... but nothing is helping. within the past two days, this pain has begun radiating to my left pelvic area - hard to describe the area, but i would say close to where my left ovary is located.

i am also concerned because i have begun to become lightheaded much more frequent, so much that, i one instance i could not walk down a hallway.
i am further concerned because - in september - i was in an atv accident where the atv actually flipped and rolled over me and i took a nasty fall. i am concerned that maybe that accident, this pain, and the more frequent bleeding may be related. maybe that's just paranoia though...
