AF after Methotrexte

I had a methotrexate shot on 11/9 and bled for about 10 days afterward.  My doc tells me that my next two cycles will be abnormal. Ok I can accept that but I havent had AF since that bleeding after my shot.  It is has been almost 2 months since my shot and no AF yet...I am so weirded out!  I hope nothing is wrong with me.  I have an appt. tomorrow for something non-related but maybe I can ask him about it.  Anyone else experience this?  Thanks!

Have they tested your hcg level to make sure it has dropped to a negative level?  If not, I would ask him to do that.  

I had two shots (a week apart).  I did start to bleed but in the end the shots didn't work for me and I had to have my tube removed.  Once my tube was removed, I started my next period about 26-28 days later.  That first cycle was a little off because I had an u/s that showed a follicle that hadn't released (nothing you would notice if you didn't get an u/s) but the next cycle was fine.  The tube was removed in March 07, and I got pg with IUI in June of 07.

They had called me after my last b/w and the level was at 3, which is considered negative.  I'm just really confused is all.

That is great news that your hcg is negative.  Your body probably just needs a litle help getting back on track.  I don't know what you dr will do for sure, but I would guess they would probably put you on progesterone supplement (like preverra (sp?)).  To get AF to start, they need to get your progesterone up and then take you off the medication so that it will drop.  When your progesterone drops, you should start your AF.

i had the shot the same day!!!  I never got AF either.  I called my dr b/c I was taking hpt's around dec 12th and they were all neg.  Dr said not to expect AF until the last week of December or at latest the 2nd week in January.  well, turned out i was prego.  Don't congratulate me yet, I had an ultrasound and all they saw was a sac measuring 5wks 5days.  will follow up w/ another ultrasound next wednesday to rule out a blighted ovum.  Just wanted to let you know we were on the same boat.  :)  best wishes.  oh, i would ask your dr about it and I am sure he will tell you what mine said.

Well you'll be in my prayers!  Well I know I am not PG because at the moment I have no DH by my side....he wont come back to the states until sometime within the next few months :(  I called my dr. and he said that if I didnt have AF within the next month to call him so he can check me out.  I was hoping that I would get AF sooner so I could get my HSG and be all nice and cleaned out by the time DH gets home and then get PG for good (or at least ya know..until the baby pops out! lol).  thanks for your advice...nice to know I wasnt freaken out for nothin'
