I have switched to Mobic (brand name for Meloxicam) NSAID. 15mg pill. Took first one last night. So far ok with Synthroid that I took an hour ago. Only thing is that not much pain relief ??? but I wonder if it "builds up" in my system .... I am hoping that it is going to work as taking it once a day is nice vs. 3X for the other one with side effects of dizziness/tired with the Synthroid. Being time-released is nice even dosing 24hrs long.
The one thing I did though, is I broke the pill in half to be certain no allergies, etc. Figuring 1/2 pill better than whole for first time .. then I took the 2nd half 2 hrs later ... wonder if I disrupted its long-acting properties doing so ???
Do NSAID's build up in the system or is it you get what you get on the first dosing for results.
My Ankle therapy shows 50% loss of range of motion .. how does a tinfoil head clucking chicken get around on one foot I ask ? I am managing ok taking breaks during the day and icing things down, etc., etc.

"Effective use of NSAIDs
It is better to use NSAIDs continuously to build up an anti-inflammatory blood level, and the efficacy is markedly lower if taken only when experiencing pain. Taking the drug regularly in the prescribed/recommended dose lets the drug build up over time in order to have an anti-inflammatory effect and allowing the area a better healing environment.
