Yaz Birth Control

by Daisy884, Jan 04, 2008 09:47AM
Hi!  I started on Yaz Birth Control a few weeks ago.  My doctor started me on them a week before I was to start my period, she had me skip my period in December to go on the birth control the week before.  I waited the seven days as the package insert says to have sex without a condom, but that was for the sunday after method.  Is this the same for my situation?  I do NOT want to get pregnant!  But I've been having unprotected sex because I was thinking I was protected, but now I'm scared I'm not!!!

Hello,

If you waited 7 days after intitiating the pill you should be fine.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
