Can hyperglycemia and the ketones produced affect the outcome of a serum alcohol blood concentration.  Blood glucose was 401, ketones were 40 mg/dl.

Hi,
Depending on the lab, ketones may at some times be read in the alcohol readings that are taken, but many labs use methods that can differentiate the two. You should check with your own lab for their methods and guidelines, and also ensure that you are being checked out and treated appropriately for your hyperglycemia and ketosis.
take care.
