B-6 B-12 vs. Lipotropic

by esq, Jun 27, 2007 09:12PM
I got my first B-6/B-12/Lipotropic injection today. I want to continue to get 1 shot per week.

I have the choice of getting the B-12 shot for $10/week or the Lipo combo for $25/week/.

Which one should I get & will it matter?  Should I switch it up with 1 week lipo & the next week B-12?I am looking to maximize my results.

The Dr. has also prescribed me Phentermine.

Thanks in advance!

Where I get mine, some people say they like hte B12/lipo better and it makes them lose weight faster, But for me it seemed like I had less energy on the B12 / lipo...

SO...I took the B12 once a week and the B12/lipo once a week and I did GREAT!

I got mine from mydietsolutions.com

You can read what others say about the lipo vs just the B12.

Good Luck!

Thanks for responding!

You got both of them once a week or one every other week? It's funny you mention that about the energy because I almost fell asleep on the way home after the lipotropic shot!

When I took the B12, Lipotropics shot I didn't have a good sustained energy.  So I looked into the ones mydietsolutions had that had the B6, B12 with Lipotropics and used them and I love them.  The B6 sustains the energy that the B12 produces I guess, because they really stay with me more.
HTH!

I am 20 lbs overweight in just a short time. I am on armourall thyroid as I have been diagnosed with underactive thyroid. My family starts out skinney and then ends up ( all of us) with thyroid diease. I know 20 lbs over weight isnt much for somepeople. but my family keeps gaining. My little sister is 4ft 11 and weighs 180 lbs. I am only 4ft 11 and want to get this under control before It gets worse and kills me. with 20 lbs weight gain my blood pressure is much worse and ruining my life.I hope the armourall helps soon. But what were you talking about with the b vitimin shots and where should I start. Help!

marcie54,
So sorry to hear you're on the wonderful Thyroid ride... it's so frustrating.  I know what you mean about looking at your family members and them all ending up looking the same weight-wise.  Ours was the same as well.
The Armour should start helping your blood pressure, too.  The Shots I take are B12 mixed with 3 amino acids called Lipotropics.  I had started getting them here when I visited a local weight & health center, then found a doctor online where I started ordering them for a lot less.  He also has them in a tablet form as well.  It honestly (for me) helped with my lack of energy and I could really tell it was breaking down the fats and move them on out.  From what Dr. Gates (the doctor I ordered from) told me, they help support the liver while you're losing the weight.  My primary and endo were both pretty astounded at how well I was doing because when I first started seeing them last September, I was in pretty bad shape.  The B12 + Lipotropics isn't a miracle cure-all thing, it's just simply a tool that helped me get over the hump.
I watch my calorie intake, make sure I'm drinking enough water, and try to exercise (breaking a good sweat) about 30 minutes each day.  The "Walk Away the Pounds" videos are really good to start with.  You can do them in the privacy of your own home and it eases you into things... very wonderful videos.
Best wishes!  If you need to know anything else, please feel free to message me!
