Right eye pain when closing it

I just recently started having pain on the outer coner of my right eye. It feels swollen but is not, and the pain makes it difficult to close my eye. My mom has MS and Parkinson's and I have seen a neurologist about the pain I have in other parts of my body like my legs, arms, along with facial pain prodomanately on my left side but occasionaly on my right. Now my left eye is not bothering me as of yet. I am hoping that someone could at least give me a clue as to what is going on. I am getting tired of getting the run around or the speech that it must be all in my head. So please if you have any ideas it would be great.

Since you have a family history of MS, it is important to rule out MS and the cause of your symptoms. Have you gone through the tests for MS ?
Was the left eye pain similar to this one ? And how are other pains now ?
