cysts

I had severe back pain, in April 07, a result of struggling with a door at work for numerous years, finally my back had enough. I felt something pop in my back, went to the doctor. They finally did an mri in July. They found I had a herniated disc at t10-t11. I also had a perineural nerve root sleeve cyst at t11-t12. I went through pysical therapy, but I still have pain and a strange feeling at my waist area, my abdomen, hip, right buttock, right leg and numbness of my big toe. It feels like a weakness and tingling pain, a deep ache. The doctor told me to find another doctor to treat it because she feels it is not related to the bulging disc. Workmens comp. says the have never heard of a perineural nerve root cyst. Various things I have read state that a perineural nerve root cyst can be caused by trauma to an area. I struggled with that door for 7 yrs.same movements over and over again. I don't know what type of doctor I should try to find in this area. I would appreciate any help. thank you.

You need to see a neurosurgeon for the nerve root cysts.
