Leaking Values

My mother was first told she had cirrhosis of the liver and her Dr's. did the "tips" procedure in Aug. 2007. Since then she has continued to loose blood through her bowels. While at her Dr's./hospital visit an echogram was done. At this time it shows 3 values that are leaking. Two on the right and one on the left. Mom has had open heart surgery back in 1975,and has for many years doctored for a fast heart rate. She is on oxygen and her blood count is 7.4 to 8.5. About every 4 or 5 days they are giving her 2 units of blood. They put her on birth control to help stop the bleeding but that will not be a quick fix. She also has some heart failure I believe on the left side. Mom is 72 years old and is in fair/poor health. Would she be a candidate for value repair/ replacement in your opinion? A lot of information and I'm sure I forgot some.
