Ankle clonus in a 6 year old?

by jbrn94, Jan 07, 2008 03:17PM
Has anyone had a similar situation?   I'm looking for some ideas as to what might be going on here.  I have a six year old boy who has been noted to have some small fine motor issues (holding a pencil), and some difficulties with balance.  His school claims that they have seen clonus in his feet, and he has difficulty balancing on one foot (worse on one side than the other), they also claim he has fallen out of his chair a number of times duing seated activities.  If anyone has a simiar situation, I would welcome your information.  Thank you.
