HPV and Oral Sex

by Mademoiselle, Jan 07, 2008 06:53PM
I had several genital warts show up in October 2007 and I was officially diagnosed with HPV  though I originally showed signs of the virus in March 2007 when my pap came back abnormal. Since July 2007 I have been in a monogamous relationship and I am wondering, since I have already exposed my partner to HPV, what are the chances of him catching an oral strain of the virus, and if he were to perform oral sex on me is it possible for him to have oral warts?

from what I have been told, it is possible, but not nearly as likely for him to get it from having intercourse. but if he has already been exposed I know you cant get it twice. so I doubt if he will get them in his throat or mouth. but this is just based on the info I have been reading or been told by other people. I hope it helps.
