I had posted a question earlier in this forum. I went snowmobiling and looks like what I got was windburn, from what everyone has said. The skin is healing, but is steal a darker color then my normal skin color. It's still a little red. About how long will it take for my skin to get back to normal? I put aloe and vitamin E on it. I have also used bactracin

Those are great treatments.  The thing to remember that injured skin is more prone to injury from the sun. Therefore, make sure that you are also providing so protection in the form of a good sun screen with an SPF rating of 45 or greater.   The redness will take up to several weeks to fade back-- if you don't get a sun burn.
