Henoch Schonlein Purpura

My son was diagnosed 9 days ago, his rash cleared up completely within 5 days, and now his blood and urine tests have come back 'stellar' according to our family physician. We have an appointment with a Pediatric Rhumatologist in 2 1/2 weeks which is great, except my son is a hockey player and has ADHD. Can he resume sports in the meantime? What about resuming his dexedrine for school days?
