Compulsive Overeating.

Okay. This has been a life long struggle for me. Ever since I was a little kid, I've always overeaten to the point of feeling sick. A few times, I have actually stuck with my "diet" and I've gotten close to my goal weight. For some reason, I always end up screwing it up.
I smoke marijuana regularly and I've been thinking that maybe the weed is causing the "munchies." I will eat well all day, and at night time, I'll smoke and I'll overeat. The same thing happens when I drink. So, I'm quitting marijuana. Today is day 1.
My real question is that, after overeating, the next morning I will always have an extremely large bowel movement. I mean like, 5 or 6 pieces.
Does this mean that my colon is exceptionally clean and it rids itself of the waste? Or does it mean that something else is wrong?
