Double/Blurred Vision in 6 yr. old

by momtoar, Jan 10, 2008 08:32AM
My 6 year old daughter has been complaining of blurred vision and now double vision for the past few days.  She also had a few headaches.  She has been complaining of headaches prior to this also.  I noticed yesterday that her left pupil is smaller than the right.  What could this be?  Something corrected with vision therapy or is is something neurological?  She is playing happily, reading and watching tv a bit, but indicates that it is blurry all the time now.

These symptoms are very abnormal and she needs to see a pediatric ophthalmologist right away.  The symptoms could be due to just needing glasses but sometimes a medical problem could be the cause so it is very important  to be checked out by pediatric ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
