Is it safe to take Phetermine (diet supplement) if you have Type II diabetes?

Hi,
Overall I am not a great fan of phenteramine because of potential side effects, although it is a common drug used for weight loss. So first I would suggest looking into oher medications instead of that one(Meridia and Orlistat are FDA approved for this indication).
Having high blood pressure, any heart arrythmias and heart disease are strong reasons NOT to take this diet supplement, and often people with diabetes have one of these co-existing diseases. I woud caution you strongly and suggest having a thorough check up with your doctor then discuss the use this medication  in your specific situation.
Take care.
