copper IUD removal and fertility

Hi Ladies,
I had a copper IUD removed after amost 6 years. The beginning of Nov. My husband and i have been trying to concieve since... My periods have always been normal and on time. This cycle i was 6 day's late, i had a neg blood tst and i got my period on the eve of the 6th day. Has anyone had problems with irreg. cycles after the removal of a copper IUD?
i would appreciate any insite or advice

Hi. I had my copper iud removed Feb 8, 08, and started my period right on time every time after, UNTIL i fell preg in April(2 mos later), then I had a m/c at about 5 weeks, and am still ttc, so I'd say for most people it doesn't mess you up too much. However, I've read that for some it does. I'm perfectly fine after having mine in so long though...
