hypoglycemia and gastroparesis

by zootr, Jan 11, 2008 08:12AM
Hi - I was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis - I have had some luck with a pureed, low fiber food diet - however I am now experiencing frequent episodes of hypoglycemia. (Immediately after I eat)  Any suggestions?  I am currently not on medications.

hi there,
ive got gastroparesis too, and i tend to feel really dizzy and collapse often.

i try to have high-sugar digestable foods.  this is very difficult, but try to persist.

you could try any of the following: juice box, malt biscuits, milkshake, baby food, fruit, licorice, jelly babies, chewy.. etc.

a google search may also be useful.
xx
